On September 30, 2026, Dalaman Vocational School organized the 2026-2027 Academic Year Orientation Program for students new to university life. The program, designed to help new students adapt to the school and university life, was carried out with the participation of academic and administrative staff.
In the first part of the program, students met with faculty members from their respective programs and attended informational sessions held in classrooms. During these sessions, students were provided with information on the education and teaching processes, course registration and academic procedures, attendance requirements, exams, advising services, the college’s physical and academic facilities, and important considerations for student life.
Later in the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ozan KAYA, Director of the Dalaman Vocational School, delivered the opening address to the students. In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ozan KAYA congratulated the new students on joining the university family and wished them success. Touching on the rights and responsibilities students have throughout their university life, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ozan KAYA emphasized the importance of students making effective use of the resources available to support their academic and social development.
As part of the orientation program, students were also briefed on various topics related to academic and administrative processes within the university and the college, student services, and student life.
The orientation program, which helped new students get to know faculty and administrative staff, learn about the college’s operations, and take their first steps into university life more consciously, concluded with a reception held in the college courtyard.
