Dalaman Vocational School hosted an "AIDS Awareness Seminar" on December 2, 2025. Held as part of World AIDS Day, the seminar took place at 3:30 p.m. in classrooms and attracted significant interest from students. Public Health Specialist Zeynep Özbahar (Dalaman District Health Directorate) was the speaker at the seminar. Özbahar provided comprehensive information on the transmission routes of AIDS, prevention methods, the importance of early diagnosis, misconceptions in society, and the role of health institutions in combating the disease.
Participants were informed about current data on HIV/AIDS, testing, and counseling services. It was also emphasized that raising individual awareness and social sensitivity is an important part of the fight against HIV.
