Sharing Industry Experiences with Our Alumnus, Mehmet Yaşar Ölçer

At Dalaman Vocational School, we continue our career talk series, organized in line with our vision to bring our students together with industry professionals and convey the dynamics of the aviation world firsthand. On April 13, 2026, we hosted Mehmet Yaşar Ölçer, a 2004 graduate of our school, via teleconference.

During the event, Mr. Ölçer’s successful career journey from his graduation to the present day was highlighted. The valuable experience he gained across various levels of ground handling operations at Turkey's busiest airports, including Milas-Bodrum and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, was the focal point of the talk.

The talk continued with an interactive session, during which our students showed great interest and directed their questions to our guest. Mr. Ölçer noted that our alumni's sector experience serves as a unique guide for our students at the beginning of their journey, and he provided valuable advice on career planning.

We would like to express our gratitude to our esteemed alumnus, Mehmet Yaşar Ölçer, for his time with our students despite his busy schedule and for sincerely sharing his industry knowledge.

This close-up of the projection screen highlights the online meeting's digital interface. The screen displays our guest, who joined via teleconference, alongside other participants. The classroom is also visible in the projected view, which highlights the "two-way" interactive nature of the discussion.

In this wide-angle shot taken from the back of the classroom, the classroom layout and atmosphere take center stage. Students are seated in an orderly manner, attentively following the broadcast projected on the large screen at the front. A modern and bright classroom environment is evident.

This photo offers an angle from the middle rows, reflecting the students' interest in the talk. The vast majority of the students have their faces turned toward the screen; some are listening intently, while others are captured by the lens in the moment. The overall atmosphere effectively conveys a serious, academic learning environment.
